The exams are held in Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, Oxnard, Norwalk, San Bernardino, and San Diego.
With the exception of Fresno, Norwalk, and San Jose, this is also where you will take your 2-day class. Norwalk students attend class in Santa Monica. Fresno students can attend at any of our locations. Oxnard students attend class in Ventura and San Jose students attend class in Oakland.
The exams are given every weekday. It normally takes the State about two months from the time you apply to schedule an exam but you can test as quickly as one month if you wish.
Each examination is a multiple-choice test with the options A, B, C, or D. There is no writing. The Law test consists of 115 questions. The Trade exams range between 100 and 120 questions. The test is timed, but typically the State gives you ample time to complete the tests.
